Understanding Correlation is aimed at students and teachers of AS and A level psychology, as well as students of other introductory psychology courses. The software should also be useful for psychology undergraduates too.

Understanding correlation has taken into account the content needs of all of the A level syllabi and can be used by teachers for demonstration lessons, or for students to work independently at their own pace. The software can be fully networked

Correlation was chosen as our first interactive software as this is a topic that many students of psychology find difficult. The software is crammed full of examples and multiple choice quizzes to test the student’s progress.

We believe the software works best when used with the direction of a teacher. Teachers may want to demonstrate a topic such as correlation coefficient and then guide students to work independently on other areas. The software will also be particularly useful for students who have missed lessons and for students completing coursework.
